VB 6 is still good for macros???

Hello,
first i found what C++ is good, now i found what most uses VB 6, so does VB6 is good for creating macros for runescape?
I didn't interested how hard will be to learn it, i just want to know is it after 10years still powerful for creating powerful macros...

 

Well. It's "powerful enough".
But there are ALOT of better programs out there.

Also learn to english.

 

From the macro perspective, maybe Delphi would be better should it be a simple colour-clicker like SCAR.

Java is probably your best shot if you want to do something to a Java applet. Though real "bots" are quite hard to make, so you probably wouldn't be able to do it straight away with the knowledge you have right now.

VB6 is what is considered "slow" for these macros. .Net is faster, and C++ is faster still. While Java is the best way to go for macroing another Java applet, don't overlook .Net, Delphi, C++ and so many other possibilities.

I would recommend against it - it is outdated.

.Net will probably be a much better path for your learning - Visual Basic 2008 Express is a free and legal download, and the various classes of the .Net framework make it quite easy to use.

 

Eh, I was never able to wrap my mind around .NET - Plus it can be decompiled, and it's too much of a pain to obfuscate every single one of your public projects :I

 

Can it really be decompiled back to source or just ASM code?
