Made it through airport security with all my stuff.

Although they did pause the conveyer belt to look at my mod for a good minute and whisper to each other.

 

I've gone through airport security multiple times with like 200+ml of juice, charger, 3 sets of batteries, mod, couple tanks, and never even had so much as a second look.

 

I just can't get into it. Pregnant wife definitely making smoking my 'only option' but I used to be into it heavy. Couple hundred mls a week in juice, so I'm not sure I was even saving money. My life is a different story though.

 

Vaping is far better than smoking, not sure why or how that's tour only option.

Also, making your own juice is WAY cheaper than buying it. I recommend going that route.

 

Tbh, I've been a long term smoker of cigs, and looking to get off what vape would you recommend for a first time vaper I smoke about 30 a day.

 

Definitely look into making your own juice. You can find a ton of information and communities online that specialize in trying to recreate popular flavors from juice companies, so it's not like you're losing any quality either. I'd hit up reddit if it's something you're interested in. It's more of an up-front investment, but you're making 30 mL for practically nothing compared to the $20 price tag that "premium" juice vendors charge.

Look into some of the kanger kits. You can pick up a solid mod / tank for fairly cheap, and they're hard to beat for the price. Something like the Topbox Mini would be what I would go with.

 

You ever lived with a pregnant woman? Haha. And yeah I know all about making the juice, I did a little, I buy my buddies juice he makes for 10 per 50ml. Be pennies on the ml if I made it, but 10 for 50 ain't too bad. But yeah my wife's fucking insane.

Rda suggestions?

 

Have you ever had one before? My first RDA was a Mutation Vx4 and as nice as it was to build on, the airflow channels on the bottom really weren't smart for a first-time RDA user. I would continuously overdrip and juice would flow out of the channels onto my mod and I'd spend so much time just taking it off, cleaning off the mod and the 510 connection.

I think going with something like a Velocity clone would be a great starter. Good airflow, easy deck to build on and you can find them online for ~$15 or so.

 

Good suggestions, however with plenty of quality $25 authentic RDA's in the market I'd wouldn't bother with a clone.

 

I've had 2-3 mxv2 clones and it was my all time favorite. Went and got a v4 a few months ago to try it out and get back into vaping, but it just wasn't the v2. That's why I'm asking for suggestions cause I can't find anything like the v2.

 

I've never used the v2.

What specifically about it did you like? What part of it do you feel is lacking?

I mostly stick with nicer sub-ohm tanks, but maybe I can point you in the right direction.

I liked the air flow mostly. I could build semi low with a larger gauge wire and take a 2 second drag off it, and get the hit equivalent to a 10 second drag off my tfv2. And the 4 post was easy to build on. I could throw a build on it in under 5 mins and be ready to go.

 

I think a lot of people are moving more in the direction of RTA's over RDA's although I do prefer my RDA's. I'm currently using an Alliance V1 and absolutely love it. Deep juice well so I don't have to worry about dripping as often, or over dripping. Airflow COULD be better, but they really have improved on their V2 design. It's more of a pricey RDA though, you could probably find something better for the same if not cheaper price.

Something to take a look at would be a nice RTA like the Sigelei Moonshot or the GeekVape Griffin. I think if I was getting into the game now I'd go for something like that over the RDA's I have, but at the moment my RDA's are working just fine for me so I haven't gone out of my way to get a nice RTA yet.

 

Yeah I just really enjoy the better taste that comes from the RDAs. Although I do believe that RTAs will soon match the flavor quality of the past RDAs.

Curious if anybody is interested in a TFv4, I have an extra.

 

Does it happen to be black? I have three in silver but I could use a black one.

Do you have any unopened coils?
