I've been vaping for a few years now.. But I'm the sort of guy that stuck with what I bought first..

So my current setup is this;



And I've vaped "Arctic Lemon 20Mg" since day one..

I want something more powerful. However, when at work, this slimline design fits in my pen pocket, so I can easily sneak this bad boy around areas it's banned with easy access.. So I don't want a big clunky one for taking to work. But I wouldn't mind a good one for at home.

Sure do! Right now i'm using a King Mod V3

Vaping has got me off my 3 year can a day of dip habbit.

 

uhm it really just depends. a nice mod set up you can get online for around 50-60$. you can get the same one in a vape shop for around 100. you just need to do research on the one you are looking for before you buy it. Right now i'm going through about 7-8 ML of juice a day on my mod. a 15ML bottle of juice is around 10-12$

 

You can easily vape for $60 or so plus $1-2 a day heavy vaping. Personally I buy premium juices and collect hardware so it isn't cheap if you turn it into a hobby.

 

Any recommendations for first vaper? Brand/model
Also where to order for international shipment?

I have looked in my country but not much to pick from unless it is over 130 euro.

Any variable voltage battery with a decent capacity and ego style threading. Something like a vision spinner v2.

For a clearomizer (tank) I recommend a kangertech emow. Its dual coil so you'll get decent vapor production and pretty well built.

Any ego style charger will work.

Of course you need to also pick out ejuice.

I can't recommend where to buy, you'll have to do a bit of research on that.

I don't recommend buying juice online though to anyone unless you have tried the exact brand. Dripping vs a regular pen makes a huge difference. tried this skittles flavor in a pen my friend had a while back and it was really good so i got it for my mod and it is absolutely disgusting when you drip it.

Most vape shops if not all have a testing bar. I wouldn't recommend anything other than something made in the US.

 

In regards to fasttech - they're not fast. At all. Their products are all knockoff clones as well. You get what you pay for with them, just a fair warning.

 

how do you like your sigeli? I've been looking into them and saw a few people at the shops with them.

 

The Sigeli is fucking beast, I love it and would highly recommend it.

Ikr, broke a glass piece in an atomizer and 3 weeks later it still isn't here. Fasttech is sketchy. Also the only juice I've ordered from there (granted it was under $3 for 15ml was absolutely revolting).

Make sure you get the plus version.

 

Well no fast tech is not fast. But honestly clones aren't that bad of a way to go if you are getting into vaping. Most people would want to spend 30$ instead of 300$ for a clone vs a mod.

Also what is the difference is the wattage in the sigeli. what differences does it make?

 

Got a .3ohm build that I've been vaping around 100-125W on the Sigeli lately, I'm shocked by how well that build's been vaping, and how clean it wicks. Been using the same wick for about a week now (since I built it), and it wicks to a clean white, even after using several different flavors/juices which I would have expected to stain by now.

Quite possibly my best build ever, and it's just a simple Dual coil 6 wrap 24g around a 1/8in bit.

Pretty similar to how I build. Regulated box with an RDA dual coil around 1/8th bit. Yours at .3 at 100-125w and mine at .2 at 60-90 is pretty damn similar indeed lol.

Have you ever tried any alternative kinds of wicking? I know with cotton you can buy it already rolled into a wick which is cool, and also there is pads that you just cut or pull apart. Then there are these synthetic cottons which are supposed to be better. And now I'm starting to hear about ceramic 'cotton' which is supposed to give the most flavorful vape. Might be worth exploring.

Today I fucked up...

Some background: I've been up 48 hours straight

I picked up an ipv mini v2 at the local shop. Sit in my car, popped in the battery and screwed on the bottom cap. Suddenly starts spitting juice off of the coils and and I'm like shit wtf tapping the power button to turn it off, pressing the down wattage button. Within a few seconds the coils are turning red and I start to struggle to remove the bottom cap to remove the battery. In the meantime I can see/smell the wick burning up and the coils already starting to lose shape. I'm thinking fuck I'm gonna be holding a frag grenade in a second so I have it half unscrewed (its really hard to get open). Two loud POP POPS and I hear something that sounds like a jet taking off so I'm like fuck this throw open the door and toss the mod on the ground. Couple minutes later carefully pick it up, finish unscrewing it and luckily the battery didn't vent. The hissing was probably off of the coils.

Obviously I had it backwards

edit: Although so far except for the annoying battery cap design (really hard to get your fingers to turn it) it feels amazing in my hand and hits like a dream. Can't attest to battery life yet but I'm charging 4 right now.

 

Damn man its a miracle your battery didn't vent. You got lucky. I've had similar experiences with my mech auto firing in my pocket...... It's terrifying.
