Uni student life, I'd probably max out at $60. It's an investment opportunity though, pack of smokes in NZ is about $20 (25's).

 

Check out the Joyetech evic-vt (mod only, not the kit), its $60. Goes up to 60w, 5000MaH battery, and temperature control.

That's if you don't mind box mods (I prefer them). I can look for something less box-ey if you don't like it.

 

Any suggestions on a box mod around 100$ budget. I've fallen behind on recent technology and not sure where to look. Last I remember was the sigelei.

 

The Sigelei 150 watt is inexpensive and quality from what I've heard.

I don't mind the box mods, but I rather the others. Box mods seem too bulky and big.

 

Sigelei is a good mod, and sturdy. I've had mine for 6+ months now, have dropped it on multiple occasions, and the thing chugs on. I highly recommend Sigelei.

Just got the Doge x2 from Vape-box, built it up with some of the samurai cotton/competition wire I also got - ended up building dual coil, .2ohm @ 70w on that thing which runs very nice.

 

Very nice, I'm saving for a new PC so I've cut all my subscriptions.

Zamplebox, vape-box, munch pak, loot crate, netflix, spotify, WoW, Runescape.

An extra $200 in my pocket every month helps.

 

Yeah it adds up fast when you look at it like that.

I'm talking just the mod itself, not the kit including the tank.

The ego one vt/ct looks like a nice inexpensive setup as well.

 

Oh okay. My apologies. But I like it, my only complaints are it constantly asks me " Press left for new coil, press right for old coil" which isn't a big deal but gets irritating, and I can't get too big of clouds with it.

 

Yeah, would be nice to disable it. But for people switching tanks its a good thing its there, otherwise you could accidentally burn the shit out of a coil.

Try a different sub-ohm tank if you want to chuck a little more clouds. You can still use the mod.

 

No doubt. And I'm planning on buying a new one soon. The odd thing is though I won't touch the settings and there will be days where I can get huge clouds and then days where nothing comes out, but I'm not too upset over it.

 

Sounds like a battery life issue. As battery runs lower, it would produce less vapor. If it's not that, then no clue what to tell you.
