Ok im confused about how to use scripts.

I've been using premade ones.

Some scripts i dl though come in wordpad form, and i don't now how to use these with rsbot.

Can soemone please explain how to change their format.
 
I'm confused too. I'm having a different problem though. For anyone fond of RSbot and know the works of it: I downloaded a script from the script dump.. and now what. How do I actually use the script? Maybe you can help me, Twapper?

Thats the exact same question I have. They come out in txt form but what am I supposed to do after that.
 
Well when I download them they save into a new folder in the script folder. But mine aren't txt files, they're .JAVA

So, I don't know what to do, lol.
 
1. copy the script into a notepad file and save it as a something.java and save it in the scripts folder of the rsbot.
2. make another notepad file copy and paste the script into it and save it as a something.class then save it in the folder where the rsbot is located.
3. go to the folder with the rsbot and open the file called compile.bat or compileall.bat forgot exactly, then wait for that to finish.
4. close and re-open the rs bot, click bot - run script - and whatever u called the script.
 
You can also strip the formatting from Word documents in Word by choosing File/Save As/Text only.
