User Ed's and Middlemen Name's Colored

Shin we mean a different color from the normal. I think middlemen should absolutly have a colored name. They are a huge part in the forums. It won't cause any clutter. Middleman, is a yes. User Educator's is a no. There's way to many of them.

 

I think both because they both work hard to get where their at its not easy. Im sure mods didn't get a hand out im sure they had to work or do something. I voted both.

Can you come up with a good reason? I mean, I've thought it out thoroughly, and even planned it. I've posted repeatedly, as well as others stating the good of it, yet all you can say is it's a waste? Why is it a waste? Why only Middlemen?

 

Ok well, I think official middlemen should have the color because look, they have completed 25/25 trades, and shown the correct attitude towards the sites members. It actually took a lot of hardwork, and commitment. I know you might want user educator's because you have the rank, not saying that you do. Also UE's don't do much after they receive their rank. They have to post 1 guide a month which is quite easy. Middlemen on the other hand have to contiously complete trades and take and save sufficiet proof, in case you are accused of scamming. Middlemen actually have a tough job as moderators do in that it's a daily process for them. Middlemen should be staff because it's basically the same thing as a staff members. HUE's should also be staff but thats a different issue. Middlemen absolutly deserve a color / staff position. They have a lot to do with the forum, including savig the asses of sythe. I mean if the middlemen didn't do their job's and just scammed or didn't do trades, unofficial middlemen would be scamming like there's no tomorrow. Scamming would go up 90% without middlemen. The process is rigorous and entails a lot of dedication and strength in not to scam a high amount of gp. They are basically the same as staff, and im sure they would all agree.

 

I voted neither. I could maybe consider having a discussion about middlemen having colored names but not user eds.

And to WoW_Blows... you're very redundant in your attempt to make that long. I never said Middlemen didn't deserve colored names, I said both do.

User Ed is changing, and will eventually get to a grand glory with some guidance...

Well for starters, ive done both + more than you. Ive become a middleman, ive become a User Ed, ive become a head user ed. The ammount of work i have put into both you wouldnt understand. Im not comparing myself to Steph or anyone as highly respected as that but say like...R2Pleasant. I dont mean to 'pick' on people he is the first person to come to mind. Ask yourself this question, why is he staff? Because he is trusted? Conman is trusted why isnt he a mod? Because R2 is active? Conman is active. Because R2 has shown his trust? Conman has gone further than that and got his MM rank.

Why should people who have sold mills get colored names and people who have really dont most of the work settle for normal colors?

Point is, I'm trying to get the reasoning for colored names changed... instead, make it those who have dire importance, or are used frequently for something.

Daily, you know you like how your name is colored. It's not a big deal, and middlemen and head user educator's should have colored names. Middlemen should be black. Headu user educator's should be blue. Done deal.

 

Since when do you get to pick the colors?
