I don't think theirs a number to it yet, because some people are still being scammed and MSN's are still being hacked. I think in the way of Legitimate, Confirmed Scam Reports it's only in the 10-20 range.

 

As a new member it sucks to hear this, imo they should have no zero tolerance for scammers and permanently ip ban them.

 

The staff do have a Zero-Tolerance for scammers, if there is firm proof someone is a scammer they are immediately banned. I.P Banning doesn't do much these days as proxies are easy to use.

But this issue isn't about scammers, it's about hackers.

 

Was the site lacking protection before and if so have changes been made to make sure this won't happen again?

 

Sythe will be upgrading to vB4 soon, so with that update we should be able to have extra security compared to the older version we are currently running on.
