A Mod/Staff Member Ban Evading?

I was just looking at a thread where someone posted that a staff member was banned for ban evasion.

Currently, do you think a mod/staff member/highly trusted member of this forum is ban evading?

IMHO, I believe there is, and more than one.

 

lol 1/4 of the members online right now are ban evaders.

 

This isn't really a topic that'd interest me but I'm going to respond anyways. And my answer would be no. If they were evading from a ban at the moment they'd be caught by FireZ in no time.


Edit: I'm not talking about your average Joe member either. Of course there's ban evaders everywhere, but I doubt any of them are moderators etc.

1/4 seems a little hefty.

I'd say there are a couple, but not a significant portion when compared to your total users.

 

I'm pretty sure FireZ wiped out every ban evader already.

 

So what if they changed their IP?

 

People change their IP's all the time. As long as it doesn't match up with someone banned/interacting with accounts, they should be fine.

 

You have 100+ IPS buster. As a sectional I wasnt going to waste my entire life clicking through each and every one of them.

I tried to user audit 1 night and it almost crashed the site.

 

Nope. In the past, we didn't have user audits. Every staff member get vetted before being modded now.

 

Explain please?

 

There is a background check done on potential staff candidates now before they join the team to avoid another fiasco.

As for me, everyone knows that I'm ban evading.

But he was actually accused of ban evading, but gathered up like a book of reasons as to why he's not a ban evader.

 

Apparently he got banned for vading once before, but it must have been a mistake. I've thought about this too, I thought it would be pretty funny, but I guess he's clean

 

I remember when that happened, I MSNed him going 'The might Vader-Catcher is a vader himself! I am disappoint!' He didn't reply.. How wrong I was.

I'm Extremely certain that No staff member or any member with authority here is a ban evader.

 

Im gonna go out on a limb and say that at least two are. Just a guess.

 

I mean none that are unknown to the staff/secret.
