Hey Everyone.
I just started college about 4 weeks ago. I am studying Administration of Justice in school and I want to be a police officer at some point.
However, I have given the army ROTC program a lot of thought. However I really do not want to face one on one combat with an m16a4 vs an AK. But I would like to serve my country somehow.
I have spoken to the recruiter who has recommended that I do the national guard for the state that I am in and that it is a great opportunity. He said that a national guard MOS with a combat orientation would be extremely beneficial.
However I have a few questions for all you military buffs/past military/current military members.
All support/Information is much appreciated!
Thanks everyone!

- 1. Which branch is least likely to deploy, US Army, National Guard, or Reserves? (I know it all depends on units mission etc, but which is least likely)
- 2. What are some MOS's that will most likely not see as much combat in the field?
- 3. Is there any information/videos you recommend I watch or specific sites that I look at in order to help me at all?
All support/Information is much appreciated!
Thanks everyone!
