seen one sold by newegg for $90 manufacture refurbished. should i get? all newegg reviews for that model say bsod and black screens. drivers really that bad for the r7 2xx?
I clicked this thread because I personally own one, and will say it is a good video card, BUT - you should save your money and buy a little better card. These newer games coming out having more demanding specs, and while the R7 260x holds up on low-medium settings, it struggles to get ultra settings on newer games. All the games I have either run on ultra (older) and high (30fps) at 1080p. I wouldn't want to buy a refurbed card, because you could run into issues. There are now R7 3xx cards you can look into, which are little more money but would run better. This is unless you going to be running older games, which in that case the r7 260x is fine.
Those cards are pretty low end, unless you're just looking to play League or something i'd reconsider.
can probably get r9 270x used on ebay for $120 or so but afraid it will have been used extensively for mining BTC. I can get r9 370 for $150. 1280 stream processors
