[Update please!] Give us mobile!

Switch to the mobile theme and come back. It's complete shit, shouldn't even be in the que. You either use NextgenLite or nothing, a mobile theme would be really nice; small and compact, easily to use without the need to enlarge be screen to read replies/threads.

 

Totally agree with OP. To keep competing other virtual goods forums Sythe will need to come up with something new. This forum has been almost the same for ages...

Every suggestion like this ends up being ignored due to not enough capacity while I am sure there are plenty of volunteers who are willing to help to make a mobile version of this forum reality.

 

Support OP. Would be nice to Sythe on the go without having to spend lots of time at it.

 

On my iphone, no matter how bad my signal is it still loads normal sythe fine. No support.

 

I agree, I have never used Mobile. I use normal Sythe lol.

 

The signal is irrelevant, it's the total use of the theme while on a mobile device.

On NextgenLite you have to enlarge the screen just so you can read/reply to posts.

The nice thing about an actual mobile theme would be to have this already loaded and accessible immediately.

That's because the mobile theme is complete shit.

Support. I don't frequent Sythe.org of my android that often, but If this was implemented, I most likely would, as it's much easier and cleaner to use.

 

Support, the few times I've browsed sythe on my phone ended up being bad experiences.

It all works fine on my windows phone, so I feel no need for a special mobile version.

 

It works fine on everyone's phone, that's not the argument. Having something easier to use that would increase activity on a mobile device while away from home is what we're asking for.

 

I just don't see ANY problem in the current way it is.. It all works easy & well :/

 

Constantly enlarging the screen because the page sets a desktop view then enlarging again whenever you select a section, no bueno.

An actual mobile theme, unlike the one we have now, would just be more convenient. Auto-fixed screen eliminating the need to enlarge sounds more appealing.

Why have a mobile theme nobody uses?

 

I've pushed this to Richard (I don't see the trouble if it's free and already made) - however as you may have seen in the sandbox he's fitting things in when he can due to moving around. He has said he'll look in to it when he gets the time.

A mobile version would be nicer and quicker to use imo, so therefore take my support

 

As do I. I strongly dislike the mobile skin and would rather zoom in and out repeatedly on the normal skin than use it.
