Selling Runescape Upgrades Questions

Where do people go to get runescape upgrades to resell? Is there some special way to get them at a discount? If you currently sell upgrades/know others that do, at what mark-up can you sell them at?

The profits come when you use a lowball exchange rate, exchange for gp, then sell the gp.

I find upgrades useless when you can use bonds and a month comes out to $5 versus $8.

 

There's no profit in that market. People use it for easy vouches. Just buy bonds and you'll be fine; selling membership is such a waste of time.

 

People used to be able make decent money from memberships, price changes in GP and bonds make it useless now.

 

If you want to start your business in the account upgrade section, do it with bonds.

*You wont get rich selling Runescape upgrades.

 

Anybody remember pin lines? You could get like 50 pins from a "pin line" that you could buy for 25$ ish. Was bank

 

Since this is not allowed on Sythe anymore (I think?) the membership market isn't really profitable anymore, it's just for easy vouches as someone said

 

Go with bonds. You will make no money and customers will be non existent.

 

Memberships are allowed but PINs aren't, here's a quote from about half way on the Official Rules:

Everyone who sells memberships for cheap are using PIN lines or something of a similar nature. It has been discussed thoroughly numerous times, and the overall decision and stance has been to simply turn a blind eye, as we aren't ones to intervene in the market to that extent. Call them whatever, same difference.

With the introduction of bonds, the amount of p2p sales has dropped, however.
