Consent from a 4 year old isn't really what I'm getting at. Take a horny 11-12 year old and a seductive 30 year old women. What do you think is going to happen?

i have recently have had a friend (girl, but not gf) get pregnant because her boyfriend and her had sex.....

Well , I'm completely different from u guyz . I live without sex untill I get married and when I get married I can only have sex with my wife and no one else . So I'am 17 and I think I will get married in 28 , So wish god luck for me . BTW, It's not that bad to live without sex and ofcourse no aids here or gays or lesbians .these things haven't shown up here yet . And if I talked about this I would say that if I was going to do it , I would do it anytime as in all ways she was 14 or 16 who cares she will be alone and its mostly the man will dumb her

 

200 years ago, girls got married as early as 13. Naturally, you start having sex when you are physically capable and get the urge. But now we have this thing called intelligence, and because formal education takes so long, we have to wait until we are 18.

Personally, I think it is ok to have sex before 18, just wear a condom and use the after morning pill. And make sure you have enough money to get an abortion. Also, whatever you do do not bring a child into this world if you can't support it or you are still in highschool. Don't be selfish, think about what the child will have to go through with a father who works at McDonalds.

But if you have a career, with enough to support the child, I don't see what is wrong with having a child. And formal education should end at around 15-16, not 18. School nowadays is so stupid, more than half of it is wasting time with pointless classes. They could easily cut off a few years to decrease teenage pregnancies.

No kidding, so have I. But I've been walking around a few different college campuses... and I can tell you that by far the majority of 18-22 year olds are completely immature and not ready for sex.
As I already said (and have to restate since you're fucking clueless), this is my ideal of sex and maturity. So whether or not you have seen mature people is irrelevant to my statement as you're defining maturity different.
People are forced into these restrictions based on opinion simply because most parents don't want their kids to have sex. So a related question is: Is it alright for parents to control their kids to this extent?

Sex is basically nothing more than interacting with a person's genitals and being close. What retarded 4 year old wouldn't understand that? They just need to be taught about it (primarily about when not to have sex), most aren't obviously.
And how are you so certain it is impossible for a 4 year old to want sex?
They need a sex drive to enjoy sex as much as they need it to enjoy playing at the park. Ya, they may not get much sexual pleasure, but being intimate with another can still be fun. Are you so stupid as to say no 4 year old would have fun?

U r right but I want to make something clear . here in my country girls have sex in 15 and 16 but no sex unless she get married . and boys also no sex unless he get married . ofcourse boys will be like 22 or 24 so that he can be able to earn and got money to his family . I think its from 18 at ur contries cuz u have sex without marriage so the girl might get pregnant at 15 or 13 so this will be really faken up and if there was a father there life will be like a hell . So I think in ur countries u should wait and candem doesn't give u 100% percent and its about 95-97% so take care or u won't to have a child while u r 15 years old .

Aslong as they both consent and believe that they are mature enough, there is nothing wrong with underaged sex.

 

Mr.James i think what your saying is fine, but i think that there should be an age, maybe lower, to legally have sex. Reason is, they both might think they are mature enough, but they might not use protection, get STDs, and bam... got a baby or STD. So it all boils down to responsibility. So i think that at age 14-15 they should be allowed to. This is when they can rationally think about it.

As someone who started having sex at 13, I almost regret it... I've done a lot of stupid shit between now and then, and eventually I got a girl pregnant at age 15 (using birth control, and no I don't have a kid... long story).

We live in a society that allows you to extend your childhood to 18 and beyond but yet there's still tons of kids like me who are all too eager to grow up too fast. Morally there's nothing wrong with underage sex as long as both parties consent, in my opinion, but kids should probably cherish their youth while they can, I'm 17 and I feel 21.

 

^^ exactly, being a kid isnt a bad thing, you dont have responsibilities, dependants, bills to pay, you are the most free you will ever be. if you grow up to fast you will regret it and look back and see how you wasted it, just look at michael jackson lol.
