Unblocking blacklisted phone?

The phone has been blocked by the owner as i found it at the shops...
Before anyone tells me off, i left the phone on for 24 hours and no one called.

Is there a was to unblock it? Please note that it's BLACKLISTED not a failed pin attempt.

 

get a new SIM card?

or perhaps put it in a blender

Blocked out phone provider... meh fk it, it's optus.

I'm using my own sim card btw. The actual handset is blocked.

If you sold it to someone who was going to a different country the handset would work there. Otherwise, dispose of it. As now-a-days they contain chips which means the phone is trackable.

 

How can a phone be blocked? i understand if a sim can be blocked,
and phones are not trackable ROFL unless they are from the police or a high force rofl not even.
maybe take it to a phone fixing shop?

 

Well it can blocked by somebody stealing the phone.

as i had my nokia n95 stole recently got a new one

but they black listed it so there is no way it can be unblocked.

Phones connect to a tower - get verified - then the call goes through.

Optus or another company, simply cancels out the verification process by blocking the phones IMEI number.

5 years jail for changing it.
