k yeah I suppose. I'll still watch for a bit and see how it works. So its really taking advantage of those who aren't in the clan.

 

The thing is I bought when everyone said buy at max, when the price dropped 200gp or whatever I sold, and only got 19 off. Now I'm left with 81 coifs that aren't selling, and the price is falling fast. I don't know maybe I just got unlucky and everyone who wanted to buy already did.

 

Yeah that's what happened to me with another ''manipulation clan'', you really need to be careful and make sure you watch the price really carefully because if some people start to dump them, then you have to get rid of as quickly as possible.

I read his thread. I was just try to help you guys out since most of you guys either get screwed by people who dump to early, or your item just flat out fails. Sara pages went up another 4k each today. So it looks like you guys missed out,while Merchant's thread made solid profit. So the jokes on you.

Clinx.org is doing this, but better. With items that can actually sell. And organized, so no one gets screwed. :\

 

I hope you people realise that the only way to really manipulate merch is solo. This requires a ton of start-up cash and at least half a brain, but you can do it. There are a ton of problems with group clan merching.

1. Awful item choices: The "leader" choses an item that will fail and cause the entire group to crash and fail in only one day.

2. No matter how good your selection of members, there will almost always be an idiot that dumps before everyone else does, causing a huge crash and failing the clan. This will most likely happen if you have 5+ people you can't keep tabs on.

There are a lot of other fails involved in group clan merching. I am, in no manner, saying that this particular group is a bad idea, but it gives you something to think about.

And another suggestion, don't even mess with santas/masks or any holiday item, you will get screwed. You will have a good profit and then lose it, it is just extremely unstable in the short-term run. Of course, santas will be good at christmas and masks at halloween, but I've seen a ton of clans try to buy these at freaky times of the year.

One more thing, I've watched a few items this clan has attempted and you are thinking too big. Stick to the small stuff. Don't buy big, rare and expensive items.(in this case, expensive is 100k+) Do potions, or small items you can get in bulk orders. That way, everyone can participate in a large way without needing to be really rich. This is also an advantage because you have more wiggle-room since not all your cash is in a few items, but many. If you pick a fairly popular item at a low point, (super pots, etc..) you can't lose any big cash because people will almost always bring it up in the end.

I'm no pro merchant, but I've made some decent cash soloing. By all means, group calns can be fun and rewarding, but just use your brain. :- S (my ramble is over)

Yea everyone posted lets do rune scimmies , all ranarrs rune sets I like to stick to the small items like herb seeds/items under 200gp but the people kept calling me a scammer etc even tho this thread lasted so long and soo many views you bring up a very good point. If you would like to help me out in organizing this a bit or just thaghts and ideas that would be great
