Best protein rich snack Ive found

Quest Protein Chips!

Ordered a 12-pack box of these after trying one at my friend's place. Over 20g of protein for a small pack of well-tasting chips, virtually no fat and low on carbs.

Any of ya'll got some suggestions for protein-rich snacks that can be made at home / bought in the store?

These taste so bad though

 

I saw other people saying that on the reviews but I honestly think they taste quite alright

 

And they're expensive >.< I pay like $1/bar for a 20g protein bar that tastes good and has low sugar.

I really like these and would eat them all the time, but like Dunworry said compared to protein bars it's really not worth it price-wise.

 

This, I don't like the taste of these either. I prefer protein bars/shakes

 

One dollar for a protein bar?!

Jesus, prices in Norway are so ridiculous lol. Avg. cost for a regular protein bar is at least $6 here.

 

Jeeze O.O Even the expensive quest bars are only like $2.30/bar or so. Are the ones in Norway at least good quality? The ones here are... alright lol. Good protein with questionable ingredients

 

They're not as cheap in Canada either, you've got it good because the USD is in a pretty decent spot atm

 

Quest bars are pretty disgusting. But a lot of people I know enjoy them, so I don't know.

 

Pretty sure the bars and ingredients are the universal globally

Never actually took the time to read the ingredient list, anything in particular you're aiming at?

 

I've had a bad experience with all Quest products besides their Whey Protein. The bars often come hard as a rock, and if you put them on the microwave, they become chewy almost like a chewing gum. The chips have a bad aftertaste and aren't very filling.

If you are on the market for protein bars, definitely buy generic wal-mart/Sam's club/Target brands. No point in being picky. Any protein bar with a decent chocolate flavor and 20+ grams of protein will do just fine in my book.

 

I'm one of those people lol. I don't particularly like them more than any other brand but I'm totally fine with them. As long as it has the protein and doesn't taste like rubber, it's doing its job.

 

Just buy a tub of protein and make your own pancakes/smoothies.

 

I prefer just making a smoothie in the morning. Only tip I can give is don't cheap out on your protein and dont buy any of that Walmart garbage.

 

Tbh I like a lot of the quest bar flavors. They're just soo expensive that I tend to stay away from them >.<

 

Pure protein - deluxe chocolate. Best protein bar I've ever tasted and has almost 30g/protein each bar. Doesn't have all the BS sugar in it too that a lot of protein snacks have.

 

I've been eating a lot of broccoli.

 

Broccoli is my favorite veggie, but its nowhere near enough protein for you if you live an active lifestyle

 

You dont even need protein for working out.
