Am I allowed to vouch for IRL friend?

Hey, so I was wondering if I am allowed to vouch on sythe for a runescape job a friend of mine is doing for me? Technically I am trusting him with my account and bank. I am pretty sure it is allowed as it's just like any other trade but just want to make sure before we get into any trouble.

He's a friend. We also most likely won't have the same IP (we have the same ISP). I've had matching IPs before and was wrongly banned for 1 year for it, so it could happen again maybe? Just making sure it's allowed.

 

According to the rule it's allowed if you state who they are in the vouch. I was saying it's not allowed going by ban disputes of people banned for vouching a RL friend, but I guess it's fine if you state who they are in the vouch!

 

Yeah that's what I was thinking but I'd like a green light from a moderator first. You can also see they mention me on a thread they made back in 2014.

 

i would say "yes" - just follow the guidance provided in the sticky. and really, if there's ever a problem with this vouch you plan to receive, you have this thread to support your innocence. generally this rule applies to people self-vouching and claiming it was their brother/friend/dog, but i don't think you're in that position here
