Uhoh, Jagex has found me.

It seems almost everytime I take my character out of the soulwars minigame (which means go through the portal to regular runescape) I get a random event... Is this normal? I don't get random events a lot on the accounts I play legit. Why do I get so many on this guy? Does it mean fagex is gettin suspicios? That's the only thing I can think of... Or do random events just "build up" even for legit players when you're in a random free area? Any help would be great!

 

WHenever your in a random-free area for a long time, the moment you step out will be a random event. They hope that the bot misclicks then gets stuck

 

This is indeed normal. It happens to everybody, because random events are based on time & experience, and when you spend alot of time in the game (it doesn't give you randoms inside) you're already due for a random event. You recieve it when it comes out.

 

Based on what you said above.. could you expect more than one random event straight away when you go out of SW.

Random events don't carry over through the time & experience, after you recieve one random you shouldn't expect another one for quite awhile. Also, below is 2 things to help understand random event timing.

- The more events you complete in a row, the longer the time will be for the next event.
- Failing events result in having more random events, and more of the ones that you failed, as a botting prevention.
- If you're a suspected botter (Flagged) you will recieve more than average events, sometimes multiple in an hour, and at least a couple every couple hours.
- Soulwars, Chaos Tunnels, Pest Control boat, are all examples of areas which you will not have random events, until you leave the area.

this also happens wen i leave gwd wars, which is a random free area, so i think its just wen you spent a while in a random free area you'll get a random

 

If jagex had found youd be jagrolled or suspended.

 

Been happening to me for a year now. No ban.

 

they suspected me for botting so i get tons of randoms frequently

The ammount of randoms u get is directly proportional to the ammount of XP you are earning. For example when i stand around ge and chat or merchant, i dont get randoms for months. But when I chinned 91 range or used mages for 99 fming, i got randoms every 5 minutes or so. (i wasnt botting, i play legit on my main so i didnt fail any events to trigger having so many)

 

I get randoms everytime I tele.

Just because you get a random, doesn't mean anything. It is how you respond to them really.

 

Same thing happens to me, but with legit training at mummies.
A random cannot get you while you're in "combat"

 

pretty much evertime i leave a dg i get randomed, its part of their system, nothing to do with you.

Whenever I do dung. I get a random when I go check how many tokens I've gained.

 

Yup normal, moving from a non-random event area to a random event area which will automatically give you a random. You can teleport from soulwars to any location, hop worlds, go to your POH... you'd still get that random.
