Why should they moderate the entire forums when they can't be active enough to moderate their own forums?

Congrats. About time globals are brought back.

 

Although taken from an interview with Admin SMR, it seems to be a general consensus that Global mods should have been reinstated.

Not to question their trust, their ability, nor to brownose as I refuse to do, but how does the forum get moderated according to the interview if the global mods are INACTIVE?

Certainly life comes before sythe but things need to happen for it to be a good idea.

I'd like to keep an open mind but so far I've seen nothing to show the chosen global mods are deserving of the position.

I'm sure there's plenty of behind the scenes work that happens but evidence tends to rise to the surface eventually.

 

When a thread is deleted (soft deleted or hard deleted) it becomes invisible to normal members. Just because you can't see that phishing thread or porn doesn't mean it's not there ^_^

How long does it take to disappear? I saw a porn link posted that was still there 48 hours+ later.

Also, it'd be nice to see you in report a spammer/scammer once in a while while Giddy and Unbanned do the majority of the work there.

 

It only disappears when someone deletes it, and since Matthew's new system fails completely this is why we have 48+ hour threads lying around. Hence your logic fails, hurr derp.

 

It's not the people behind the system, nor the system that fails. It's the people (including you) within the system that fail.

Hence your logic behind threads disappearing like they should also fails.

Care to search my name and actually help go through some spam reports instead of complaining when you're in the position to help get rid of the problem?

I think they were chosen on principle of experience, at least Daily anyway. Can't you find anything positive on this forum, or do you just walk around "abusing others" to make yourself feel better about yourself.
