Okay.. where should I start...

I'm really just as confused as anyone. I have no idea why or how someone could connect to my IP address. The only thing I could think of is that my network was hacked or someone hacked into my desktop through remote desktop connection. I'm just clueless as to why someone would want to frame me and have me banned. I don't have a hackforums account, but could a mod who does check to see if there is anything there about framing me?

As you can see from my conversation with Ray, I am willing to take full responsibility and fully refund anyone that the imposter scammed. I don't know what else to do at this point. What do I have to do to prove my innocence?

Theoretical: If I had indeed intended to scam as an imposter, I wouldn't create an imposter of myself, as only an idiot would do that. I also would've used a VPN to hide my IP.

I would never scam anyone, as has been shown several times. A couple months ago I was given a TWC for owing a $1000 debt. Having the TWC made it much harder to payoff the debt, but I still did. I could have left Sythe without paying the $1000, but I didn't because I'm not a scammer, and would never scam anyone. Over the past few months I've been trusted with thousands of dollars from trades, and if I were really a scammer I could chargeback thousands of dollars to my PayPal account, but I won't, because I would never scam anyone. Even if my dispute is denied I wouldn't dream of ever doing that.


I have over 150 vouches, many worth more than 40m 07. I've traded tens of thousands of dollars, and have never scammed anyone.

I just don't buy it that someone went to the trouble of hacking your network to frame you for the sake of 40M 07.

 

I believe the intent here was to get me banned from the Sythe community. I'm unsure as to why someone would want to do that, but I've got a few theories.

1. My case vs. Alex last year brought me an array of hate within the community.

2. The names market that I'm involved in is very aggressive with respect to this type of behaviour.

3. The objective of this person framing me was qualitative and not quantitative; it could've been 10m or 100m, the objective was eliminating me from the market, not earning profit.

4. By having my TWC removed, I just proved something to the community; some reputable name sellers could want me out because of that, so if they have to ammunition to do so; then why wouldn't they? I'm talking about Just / Alex / Ricky or any other fierce competitors.

 

My Skype has been hacked. Do not trade with it.

I'm contacting Skype support now and will post an update when I recover it.

Ray can confirm he refunded 20m 07? I highly doubt someone like Jake would scam 40m 07 then offer to return it not long after. Just doesn't make sense to me.

 

No offense, but I agree with Roary. I find it hard to believe that someone would hack your network.

 

Ray can confirm that I offered to give him 40m after he had provided chatlog proof to me that the scammer had indeed scammed 40m from him. However, he realized that it couldn't have been me who scammed him, and voluntarily asked for and agreed to take 1/2 of what he was scammed (20m).

I completely agree with you. I'm still shocked that someone would go this far. Since it's happened, I've taken measures to secure my network and have removed any remote access programs I had on my computers.




My Skype account is still hacked. I've sent Skype an email but have not received a response yet. I'm hoping to have it back within the next few days. In the meantime, ignore/block it as I will be making a new one to avoid another hacking.

 

I'm sort of inclined to be on Entrr's side of this as well.

I seriously don't think this ban should be kept but let's get a decision on this ASAP.

 

What kind of excuses are we taking nowadays? "Someone hacked my network?" Sounds to me like you just impostering yourself and trying to get away with it.

I mean, if I had really wanted to impost myself I would have used a vps/vpn.
