To everyone saying this is useless: it isn't
For me, it doesn't work though
I'm using the downloadable RS client and my cache is in C:\Windows\.jagex_cache_32
I've marked random.dat as read-only but I still get the "too many accounts logged in from your address" error
OP, got any idea what could be going wrong?
Lol I don't even have a random.dat in my cache folder. I think this might have specific requirements.
EDIT: For those who don't see it in C:\.jagex_cache32\, it's in C:\Windows\.jagex_cache32\
Stickie in guides Pl0xNice, I'll let you leave it here since it will help quite a few people in the long run - but do you think you could maybe post it in Rs2 Free Guides as well?
I think it would do good to have it there as well.
Blupig what do you mean by this
could you get banned for it ?
try
{
// try to write to random.dat
}
catch (SomeKindOfWriteFailureException)
{
// ban user
}
You most likely have to delete the random.dat if you only find one on ur pc and that doesnt work, then when you delete that and reload RS it should create on in C/users/****/random.dat, and that one should work
