As an ebay shopper, this is a heavenly find for me. Basically, it all revolves around taking advantage of typos, misspellings and other human errors in ebay listings. And I'm all about taking advantage.
With online shopping growing, its all about deals. And with this easy, simple method, you can save tons of money or even start a home business based on this techniques. Please note however you need an Ebay and Paypal Account to bid and pay for ebay goods.

If you want to be serious about finding great bargains, Ill let you in on a secret I use. Its www.auctionbloopers.com You type in the item you are searching for and it will scramble your keyword into all the misspellings. Here I'll show you.​

Now, you can swoop in and buy the item for almost nothing, or at the very least the lowest reserve price. It's a great innovation to take advantage of a known problem, plus the seller gets rid of the item without having to pay a relisting fee. Sweet. And just one more way to be a great frugal shopper. ​

yea except some are mis-spelled on purpose just so someone can get confused and buy something only really worth $10 for $60

I've heard about this many, many times, and it doesn't really work that well, because to many people are finding this out.

my example would be... i bought oakley sun glasses and they were fakes. another would fake air force ones i got. i checked on ebaymotors and i found lots of classics that were named wrong. i think i might try to find me a cuda that someone thinks is something else

 

^ No one is intentionally misspelling items on Ebay. This method will continue to work regardless of the number of people who find out because of the countless amount of people who continue to spell things wrong. Mind you it won't be easy to find great bargains but with persistence you're sure to find great deals.

If someone misspells "Adidas" through the whole auction, its likely it could be fake. But being a smart shopper, you should look for proper spelling throughout the rest of the article.

People do it ALL the time.....

People list items as :

"3 Playstation"

and are really selling 3 normal playstations 1's. What this does is get someone to pay $5,000 (when the PS3 came out) for something worth a little more than $300. It just looks like a typo.

 

What I was getting at is you need to be a smart buyer. Its easy to tell scammers from simple typos. But true, you do need to be careful and watch out for people like that.

And in the picture above, you can see it is a simple misspelling. "Nike" is spelled correctly in the item description.
