Nice guide, very well written, looks nice and not like those other guides which require you to have a bit of "insertyourlanguagehere" knowledge already.
I do not know any kind of language but after reading your Guide I'm definitly considering scripting in SCAR even though it may not be the best bot out there, (ibot,kyab).
If I ever manage to make a good script you can always ask me for a copy, because you really deserve it. Good luck in future botting.

When I try to download Includes it only comes up with ONE include.
Then chen I try running a script, it says:-

Failed when compiling

 

You are running a very old script. Use scripts that only use the SRL include.

PS Glad to see this tutorial is still bringing about strong learners .

Very nice intro to SCAR.
Thanks for taking so much time to lay it out for all the n00bs.

It's too bad that SCAR doesn't compile the script before running so you could add all of the procedures at the end and have a cleaner code.

a sticky is something sticked on top of the lists of threads so you have easy acess to it and its listed first highlighted

 

is there a place in scar were i can just copy and paste the premade script and run it then stop it or do i have to do the colors and bitmap and everything

I cant seem to get the script to find any colors on runescape. I even tried just copying and pasting one of your sample scripts. I'm using the color finder and putting that color in the script, but it never seems to find that color. It's only a problem on runescape though. I tried it on a normal page and it worked fine. Any suggestions?
