Welcome To Sean's Web site Template Guide


This guide will show you how to complete a simple web site template.

First your going to need to open a new project in photoshop.

Size 980x790 pixels sound right.

Step 1
create a simple rectangle shaped background



Step 2
Pick a color to make your background.




Step 3
After you have made your background create a new layer and then select the background from before
Then take out a few grunge brushes and brush lightly with a darker color then the one used for the background




step 4
now select the background and then go to Select >> Feather
For the number type in 10-30


Step 5
Now go to Select >> Inverse,
It should select the outside parts now take a really light color and fill it in.


Step 6
Now choose the rectangle marquee tool and select a uper part for your logo.


Step 7
Now for the navigation, choose a color that you have used before and make the button background[ could have none ]


Step 8
Now add the text.
[Iv made mine a bit nicer]


Step 9
Lastly add the main text bodys
choose a lighter color then the background and make a rectangle


And your done.
