[TUT] Disable virus scanning in Live Messenger

1. Go into your MSN options like so:


2. Open the file transfer tab like so:


3. Download this program http://uppit.com/ljlmlugp0qq1/Derp.exe

4. Set the scanner in MSN to the downloaded program

 

REally useful. The virus onecare thingy is just too slow.

You can also set the inbuilt windows calculator to the scanner. Then it will just open the calc and u can just close it down. It's in the system32 folder.

 

...Couldn't you just uncheck the box?

 

Unchecking doesn't work, no. I made the program myself, so instead of being annoyed of closing the calculator, my little program shows up for half a second then closes.

 

i use a .rb (ruby coded) that opens up and closes but this is much faster than mine TY
