Turn Off Strange Rocks

This guide will show you how to turn off getting Strange Rocks when you're training / botting.

I researched this as I wasn't aware of how to turn it off as I was sick of bots messing up when getting them.


It's quite simple really;
- Go to Varrock Museum
- Speak with Barnabus Hurma Located on the ground floor next to the statue plinth
- Keep speaking to him until you're prompted to ask how to stop getting these rocks
- He will say some sort of chant, and now you're free from them.. For good !

To turn them back on just use the same method.

Some mining scripts that I've used, once a Strange Rock is obtained forces the script to malfunction which drives me mad.. And this is a quick fix for a few years of it pissing me off

 

Another way is just to bank the first two rocks you get. Surely it's not too painful to play legit a few minutes to get them lol.

 

You get two different rocks for each non-combat skill you train.. Which works out quite a lot. This has helped me out, so I thought I'd share.
