[READ] Should I be reinstated to staff? [VOTE]

Hello all. As you all know I have been demoted due to a report on me for ban evading. Found here - im probably wrong, but excelont?

This case is being reviewed in the Admin lounge as we speak.

I'm making this thread to see if I actually did have a good impact on this site and hopefully made some friends over my time here on Sythe.org. This vote is important to me. This vote is for if the admins do reinstate me as staff I would want to know if the community would want me reinstated as well. In the end I will listen to what the community wants. I've never scammed or hurt anyone on this site.

I've made a lot of friends on this site and I am truly grateful for that. However, this site isn't all about the market or having power within the site. It's about making friends and meeting people you can trust. It's about joining in and having fun with the community. Whether we are playing H1z1, Guess A Sketch, trolling each other in the spam forum, sending naked pics in the discord, or even playing Runescape it will always make us laugh and have fun. If the admins do decide to ban me just know that if we talked on here, played games together, or even just had random conversations on the site I do consider you one of my friends.

But all in all I am very grateful for my time here on Sythe.org and I do not regret anything I have done for/on this site.

Voted yes, but none the less I agree with the admin's decisions taking off your moderator rank for a little while when they investigate the case. I love you.

 

I feel like you've posted this because you think there may be a chance you will get banned. You can read your staff feedback thread if you want to know what people think about you as staff, if you're doubting yourself as a staff member etc then that will only be solved by you changing your attitude, rather then asking for pity. (because that is what this seems like) If you know you're not in the wrong you shouldn't have anything to worry about. You shouldn't be seeking yes votes to determine whether you should stay in staff when this blows over. You need to determine whether you can do the job properly.

I'm not going to vote, but just tell you what I think you should hear. Most of us aren't fond of people who have just scammed and now target staff members. You know how I feel about you regarding the cdt stuff. As a mod you're fine. As a person you're ok. You will have some friendships and you will have some haters or dedicated life ruiners. Look at Rich and take him as an example. He's not there looking for approval, he's doing his job, a job in attempts to better the community even in ways people may not like, but that actually might benefit the community, working with others, putting in different systems. You don't have to have people to like you and want to lick you so you can feel you're doing something right or that you're liked. I know you're better then that at least, I hope.

Edit: also its just protocol removing you from staff whilst this report is around, it's not like they're attacking you, remember Daves situation. Just handle it how TTB and Jack have mentioned, you'll be fine.

 

Oh i completely agree with that as well. Why shouldn't they take me off staff, they did the exact same thing to Dave and i respect the consistency that staff does with that.

 

I think you should be reinstated because you were one of the better sectionals for sure. Always answered promptly to messages on Skype or on Sythe. And I severely, severely doubt you are any threat to the community. Good luck, and I hope you get reinstated.

 

In my opinion, you definitely had a great impact on the site for the better good; however, it's hard to disregard the evasion and not take that into consideration if it actually occured. I'm almost certain none of that took place and if that is the case, I'd love to see you back as a staff. Best of luck, bud.

 

Looking at the ridiculous pardon process at the time it's no wonder that you decided to evade your ban. You're one of the better staff members you should definitely come back.

I did not banevade.

I would not let this go on this long if i did I would just say I did.

I have nothing to come clean for.

I told admins my situation with it and it's going to stay at that until they decide.

If anyone saw the hashed pws relating it's due to people sharing pws growing up. Pretty much used a common pw as we would all share runescape accounts back in the day.

 

Then i see no reason why you shouldn't go back to staff.

 

I'm sure if you're innocent then you'll be reinstated to staff, no need to make a thread like this.

If you ban evaded you should be demoted and banned like everyone else would be. If you didn't ban evade you should be put back on staff. Simple as that.

Why couldn't you just let the staff do their job and investigate the issue before you dragged this out into the open? Nothing good can come from a thread like this. If you aren't guilty you probably just embarrassed a few staff for going through protocol.

 

Well having been on staff and ban evading, I can tell you I think you're a good guy from what I've seen and I'd trust you. I don't think you ban evaded and I think it's a salty banned member launching a smear campaign against you.

If you did Ban evade or did something you're not proud of, just cop to it. Most rational people would forgive you. You could work your way back.

If you didn't, nothing to worry about. You'll be back on staff lickety split. I didn't read this thread as in you might be guilty like Sonia did. I read it as genuine interest on your part to see how others view that. I like that way of looking at it. I mean, if people aren't happy with your work, why bother doing it for free?

 

All I saw was a scam report, so if it's valid then it would be an excelont idea to demote you, however it wasn't an excelont idea to make this thread because now you look guilty as fuck.

I don't even know you nor do I really care but if your scam report is valid buh bye, if not wb.

 

I just see it how @kmjt said it, it looks like you're asking for pity and thread does no real favour for you just causing more drama. Let the staff do their jobs. If you're not guilty you're fine. If you have done something wrong, yes you don't deserve to be staff, does that mean you'll get booted out of the community not at a time like this, seems anyone is welcomed. I don't think he's guilty either, siblings and that can be an issues, hence why I don't want my sibling to join up to sites I do because I know they will mess it up for me. Things happen in the past, and as a result he may be at fault for allowing it to happen, whatever happens happens. I don't know the situation I'm just assuming, I tend to have good intuition and from what I've read that seems to be the case here.
