Tribots Looking Glass - Effective or not?

What are your thoughts? Does it reduce ban rates?

 

Hey there! I was very skeptic about the whole looking glass and mirror mode at first. I thought it was pure marketing, but when I started using it I really noticed a BIG difference. I guess jagex can detect 3d party being used when your using botting clients (without LG or MM).

First time I used LG I didnt get banned for 3 weeks and got my hunter up to 88. I did get a 2 day ban, but I think its because I wasnt being carefull enough. Had the bot running for like 10 straight sometimes XD. If you use breaking systems and you bot around 6-8 hours with a good script (ABCv2 preferable) you can hold on much longer. Dont bot if you dont want to get banned though!

 

TriLeZ is a reputable developer and has shown to be very smart when it comes to hacking the RS client and developing work arounds so I'd say it could make some difference, but in reality we don't really know exactly how Jagex detects bots so it may not even matter the way in which a bot retrieves data from the client... Look at Ibot NeXus, it simply used reflection for everything and maintained a fairly low ban rate, and the only way Jagex was able to stop NeXus is by suing them...

 

I personally have never been banned using it.
