Tribot website hacked, but client works?

Hey guys I just tried logging into tribot.jar and it actually loaded. Though I am worried about few things, 1) is it even safe at the moment? 2)tribot version says its version 5.53_1, but last time i used tribot im pretty sure it was 1.57 would love to have a few opinions and comment on this matter thanks.

also question, can the hackers update our pre-downloaded clients?

Tribot.org was temporarily taken over for a short period of time, but all RS accounts were safe and just fine.

It just happened a few days ago but it's pretty much just old news now. Everything is recovered and back in working order. It's all safe now.

 

idk why, but using firefox im still seeing the "hacked" page, but using other browsers im seeing the tribot forums. Whats going on?

 

Cookies or cache or something.

Try pressing Ctrl+F5 which is "Reload (override cache)"
If that doesn't work then
Press ctrl+shift+delete key and clear stuff out.

Use Google Chrome

Idk i got hacked tonight. Idk if it was by tribot or something

 

someone attempted to access my acc (had jag),so some passwords were leaked.

 

It was hacked, but all accounts were kept safe. They should be good now though, and I actually used them at the time the site got hacked. No problems here. IF you really want to be safe, change your password.
