Tribot (attempting to connect) ??

I'm sorry if this is something I should've researched/known. I tried google and my skype friends but no one got back to me.

When starting a script, I got a request to allow a connection to photobucket. Allowed that, figured it was for paint.

Then I got a request to connect to "_._._._ (an ip address"(connect, resolve)"

Is that typical? Is that just like to send data back from the paint?

 

Quite normal, all repo scripts should be 100% safe, you can type that IP into your browser and see what it goes to. It's fine to allow all, always, if it's a script by someone well known.

 

Good of you to be cautious especially when connections are being made. Try and stick to the scripts from the repository and you should be fine, or like yohojo said, enter that IP into your browser.

 

Whenever a script makes a connection to a website there is always going to be 2 firewall prompts if the script does not connect directly with the IP.
One will be the domain name, and the other will be the server's IP.
