Trade Scam Nerfed

So i suppose the luring threads that are accepted by this community aren't doing the exact same thing? Scamming players out of items?

Runescape is a GAME. I would never scam anyone out of anything that mattered, nor would i ever scam someone from Sythe out of their items. Why? Because to people on Sythe RSGP = $$$. Most RS players will NOT cash in their banks for actual money when they quit, so no, it IS NOT worth anything more than what it is in the game to them.

Kinda funny how you seem to care about the Runescape rules when it suites you. This forum has one of (if not the) biggest Runescape black markets on the internet, and you are saying i should be banned for scamming other players out of items? Since when was scamming considered worse than RWT or luring.

Scamming on runescape = Against the rules + dishonest + cheating + makes no fucking difference to the person's life once they log out = Bannable

Scamming on sythe = against the rules + dishonest + a bad way to become trusted + actually effects them in real life = Bannable

In case there is any confusion still, scamming - whether on this site, or elsewhere – is not permitted. It takes the same egocentricity to scam in RS as it does here, and as this is primarily a market, it would be a foolish thing to promote.

An account named Sup3r 4ut03r was banned for saying he scammed in a post, why shouldn't this guy?

 

Like to let you know scamming in-game is in fact against Sythe rules. Luring was discussed among staff and deemed legal by sythe rules since it's taking advantage of game mechanics(to my knowledge.) Scamming, well, is scamming.
I'd expect to be banned soon.
