There is really no specific way to earn their trust back, the only suggestion i can truly give you is; Your actions speak louder than words.

Personally, if i were in your situation i would be attending meetings the way alcoholics do (AA). Once you've gone to some for a while i would take your mom to one.

Be more involved in family activity's.

Try showing them that you are making positive changes in your life.

It take's time to build trust back up so don't expect it to be sudden.

It's no easier than after being a smack addicting either.
Day 1 is no different than day 100. Everyday my actions are questioned... im seriously curious in the answer to this too.

Honestly; Your actions speak louder than words.

If people have trust issues with them you need to show them that you acknowledge your problem. Once you do that you must plan and execute a way to show friends, family, whomever it may be that you're sorry and want/need to change.

I'm not telling neither of you to go check into rehab because that's not the only way. Drug addicts have meetings such as alcoholics do (alcoholics anonymous). Find where your nearest host spot is and go sit in on a meeting.

It's much better then rehab because they're everyday people with everyday issues, just as you. You can be assigned a sponsor so anytime you feel like you're going to do something you'll regret you can contact them and they will be there for you any time of the day.

Well, one way I show my mom she can trust me is when I get payed, I don't spend any of the money, and 20$ dont suddenly go missing. By the way, I've never stolen from my family to support my habbit. Its always been my own money. My mom just doesnt like me using and hurting myself.

Not attending meetings after you're out of rehab doesn't necessarily show your commitment.

Have you ever tried asking your parents to take you to one?

I find it hard to believe parents wont help their child escape from a past and change his life around.

I went through this back in highschool.
Parents attitude towards me changed completely. So I decided from then on to act like a more mature adult. Now, my parents trust me completely. Just live life normally like a normal being would, everything will run its natural course soon :)

You don't have any type of public transportation near you?

For someone who's so eager to gain the trust back of parents you don't appear to have the same effort to earn it.

There really isn't a way to show someone you've changed without showing them the dedication to that particular change. You're not stranded in the house if you go out on a daily basis use that towards attending meetings.

I think it's more of a time thing. I used to drink & drive twice a weekend back in the day when I was a rebel and went through teen aa meetings, fights in the family, and all that. At the start they couldn't trust me, but if you show improvements and that you're going out and staying safe then it slowly builds up the trust. Trust just doesn't come overnight.
