Top rated NFL picks staying home for draft?

What do you guys think about some of the top draft picks staying home with family instead of flying out to the draft for the ceremony? Notably speaking is Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota. They've both came out saying they won't be attending.

I get they wanna be with their families but it's quite easy to fly em out and get em seats at your table. It's all part of the process. But I also respect them for doing what they're doing.

Well apparently its because they have too many people to bring them all there, which is understandable. It's fine for me, though the nfl would probably like the number 1 pick to come for a picture

They'll likely both be at home in a few years after being busts, so they may as well start practicing now.

In all seriousness, who the hell cares where they are? I barely even care what team they go to, far less where they are when they get picked. Jameis will probably be stealing more crab legs or some sht.

Couldn't care less. Does the whole "giving a jersey to the pick" default to the next pick the team has in this case however or do they just simply not do it if the pick isn't made in the first round?
