They released a 'best-of' compilation album years later entitled 'Echoes', which i personally think is ridiculous because their material is valued subjectively and shouldn't be broken down and labelled in any which way.

Greatest hits compilations shouldn't really count as albums, lol.

    The Wonder Years are amazing.

Of Mice and Men though are a little late to the electrocore scene though so they just kind of sound like all of the others that came before them.

I need to add to my list:

    Attila - Rage
    Any Delta Blues artists
    Clutch - Discography
    Seasick Steve - Discography
    Sublime - Greatest Hits
    Iwrestledabearonce - It's All Happening
Avenged Sevenfold - Waking the Fallen and City of Evil (Metalcore - Hell yeah!)

I don't want to be that pretentious knob calling out any faulty genre classifications, because i think classifying music by all of these newfound genre derivatives is ridiculous. All im saying, is that A7X by any standard isn't really metalcore in the truest sense, at least not fundamentally. Their latest work from what i've heard is what i'd call neo-cowboy rock , take it for what you will.

Some of my favorite 'metalcore' , though i don't listen to a lot of abrasive music these days.

Converge- most renown of the metalcore genre.

Buried Inside- The song posted below is part of a concept album, so it really doesn't do them justice all together.

Graf Orlock- Outrageous short-lived band that became notorious for having iconic action movie samples as the intro for every song.

I don't listen to their new stuff, on the first 3 albums which go from straight metalcore/hardcore, to more hardcore, then to just metal. After that, I stopped listening.

    Album 1:
Warmness on The Soul actually more of an EP.

    Album 2:
Waking the Fallen A transitioning from Metalcore to something more heavy metal-like

    Album 3:
City of Evil Full transition to heavy metal/classic metal.

Yeah i was a huge fan of them once upon a time. I can't stand the way they choose to portray themselves now, they have this smug rockstar image that came shortly after City Of Evil. I've never been fond of band member psuedonyms either; Sinister Gates, Zacky Vengeance, Johnny Christ, The reverend? So cheesy. :p

True, but i havent listened to all their albums, so i just threw Echoes here. And I agree that Pink Floyd albums should be listened to as a whole, not just one song.
