None of you in this forum even know what punk rock is, i get embarrassed every time i check this place out.

 

Just because a song is featured on guitar hero doesn't make it shitty, theres only 2 songs on my list that are on any of the games, and both I knew and liked before the games were even released.

And, alot of people talking about punk rock emberass me too, but if this emberrasses you, feel free to give examples of what you think is punk.

I've been to Rise Against's concert, where The Bronx also performed, and I am going to A Wilhelm Scream's and Story Of The Year's concert on May 11th, I really really wanna see them

There are legends of punk on there. The Clash, The Ramones, and the stooges are three of the most famous punk bands.

and for everyone else, do some research on what real punk is and you'll find that good charlotte and blink 182 are indeed pop punk.

 

Clash and Ramones arent punk they are more reggae and alternate. Black Flag, Minor Threat, The Casualties, Gang Green, Sex Pistols that is real punk!

Casualties are true punk btw, other then them and the unseen who is keeping punk alive other then local bands, common ppl respect!

 

I agree, The Casualties and The Unseen are one of the best modern punk bands.

to be honest I don't listen to much of minor threat, and i've never heard gang green.

i'd probably throw The Exploited's version of Mucky Pup in there somewhere.

 

Ramones, Sex Pistols. Not Blink-18yearsold or Green Puke or Shit-41 or +44 or any other crap that call themselves new punk. Kay?
