    Hi all-

    I've just finished coding the solution for this. You can now hide other people's participation miniranks by changing a setting in the user center. Go to the User Center, then to Perks, and then to Manage MiniRanks. You should see an option to show/hide other people's participation miniranks (by default they will be visible).

    Hahaha wow I kind of ignored the originally suggestion (unintentionally) and did something entirely different.

    I could also add an option to hide your own participation miniranks so you can still see other people's... Is there interest in that or is just hiding them all completely sufficient?

    Lol. I'm assuming hiding your own participant miniranks will make it hidden to other people as well (without them having to configure the same option)? If so, please add that option. I was mainly concerned with the unwanted stretching of my own post bit (I'd imagine others would agree in that respect). I like that participant miniranks are still shown on your profile, and aren't completely disabled from view.

    Yeah that's what I'm saying. The option I added only hides them for you as you browse. It doesn't keep yours from being displayed.

    HOWEVER. You can use the MiniRank manager to hide whichever miniranks you want. MiniRanks you hide should stay hidden. This means if you maintain a participation MiniRank and hide it, it will stay hidden. If you lose a MiniRank and get it back later, it will be visible again.

    So I suppose the question is: do you want an option to always hide YOUR OWN participation MiniRanks completely (even for other users)?

    (Also, please note that all of your MiniRanks are displayed on your user profile page regardless of these options.)

    I'll add another option because I think both have value. Some people will want to display all the junk they have but not see it while others will want to keep their postbit tidy AND ignore other people's. May take a few days for me to code it...

    I'd also like to add that I'm seeing this

    I assumed hiding the miniranks in other means would get rid of the ranks forming another line when there aren't enough miniranks shown to do so. Is this an involuntary glitch, or how it's suppose to function when miniranks are hidden? This was one of the primary reasons for making this suggestion because I thought that by disabling participant miniranks, it would get rid of this issue of invisible minirank placement.
