Don't remember exactly, but less were on and ranting over the font change and that got reversed quickly.

I am pretty sure this update will be critical in the functionality of the new skill, as such it won;t be reversed is my guess.

 

I don't understand why people are bitching about this, and I highly doubt they will reverse this update, there's just no need to do so as this update doesn't have a large impact on the way the game is played.

I actually like seeing the higher hits, it makes combat a bit more interesting. Also, the experience you gain from combat is now more accurate.

 

You're probably not a veteran of the game then. It has a HUGE impact on how the game is played. You need to completely reverse your way of thinking when doing anything combat related now, pking, training, w/e. Try pking with this update in place, just try it. Everything about it is unnecessary and confusing.

The majority of the veterans won't like this update, it appeals to the newer players as stated on the RS website. It's pathetic how they're slowly wrecking their game.

I don't see how it's a bad thing at all. I mean, you get hit 10X as hard, you hit 10x as hard, right? If not, someone explain in more detail?

Also, I doubt they'd reverse it. It's too big of a change. They didn't mess with font changes or strength bonuses, it was something huge. It would be incredibly embarrassing for them to pull out now. They must have known the consequences, and regardless of what anyone says, they are not stupid. They'll wait out all the hate, just like they did last time.

 

They wont reverse an update. After a week everyone will be used to it and they will stop complaining. I'm taking some time before pking.

Honestly, saying you have to reverse your entire way of thinking is just ridiculous...it's as simple as multiplying by ten. It just sounds like you're looking for a reason to complain lol.

I can't remember many reverses - orange skill panes and font changes are the only two that come to mind -, so I don't know if there will be a reverse. I don't mind it too much. And, I rather like the lobby, but I've not grown accustomed to the HP yet. I feel that we're in this for the long haul.

 

You know, we always complain about a new update, but then it dies down afterwards. I want this undone though. I'm not sure if this is going to get reversed, but I really hope it does.

 

Just add a decimal before the last digit, it helps. Like if you hit a 99 you would have been hitting a 9.9 before the update.
