IM so mad at ALL moderators who have been online recently.

my post has been flamed. ive been accused; and now my sale is potentially held up
because some low life asshole decided to smear my post.
no mods currently online are responding to my PMs and no one has addressed the report
i submitted on the post itself. thumbs down!

IM so mad at ALL moderators who have been online recently.

"litterally took 20minutes" - superfluous, sellerman then likes it. then they closed the post.
uhm no, it took over an hour for that dispute to get resolved; i didnt even post a complaint about the
time it took for 45minutes. this comment is clearly meant to:
1: belittle my complaint
2: give the illusion that the mods who were online at the time were doing their jobs.

the fact is i pm'd muiltiple mods including Sellerman, who didnt respond.
45ish minutes later i made the complaining post found above^:

i find it disgusting how a mod can make an inaccurate remark on a post to
disreguard the point of the post, then close it. bad job on your part superfluous.

now, my issue had been resolved; thanks to justin @ "shall skill",
he saw my complaint and took care of the issue right away. you should be more like him, superfluous and sellerman.
he doesnt try to belittle complaints.

okay, "literally took 60 minutes" if you want to be pedantic.

we're not not paid to respond to your issues within a certain timeframe, and you didn't pm me asking for help. sorry that we have other things to do in life than wait for people to complain about things and resolve them. if you want a timelier response you can ask in any of the relevant discord channels, where most of us hang out

 

no i didnt pm you because no one can be pm you because there no pm option on your profile. my issue with your rude comment is that you think its okay to belittle a member. just know im watching you, im sure you wont be a mod for very long. usually people who do things like that violate a lot of rules. and ill be there screen shotting away.

 

None of the staff belittled you. Stop being so dramatic and entitled.

The mods acted on your request quickly, relatively speaking, and at the end of the day they are simply volunteers of the forum and you aren't owed anything in a timely fashion.

Your posts indicate that you have some growing up to do.

 

no, he acted as my complaint wasnt warented, which is belittling.
my complaint was warrented; as several mods were online, PMd, not responding, AND not doing any moderating. so you know, it tells you what someone is doing when you click their profile. so no, i have legitimate reason to be mad at the mods who were online at that time. and you sir, are also defending the poor actions. want to be a mod? do what a mod does. and talk about growing up? youre here on my thread where im voicing my concern telling me i need to grow up. that sounds like something someone would say when theyre defending a friend who did something wrong.... oh wait youre a mod too...


edit.* i do believe thats flaming. your comment that is, a violation of a rule by a mod.... shake my head. ill be reporting that comment. lets see if any mods deal with a mod who violates rules. and if youre wondering; this is my thread in a section where im allowed to speak my mind, and the truth about what occured on this site. you dont get flame me on my own post. got a problem with my factual statements here? make a complaint thread.

 

Staff (and all users, for that matter) do not sit there refreshing their page for messages/requests. I see that you are new to the site, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and fill you in. This is not a reasonable expectation of anybody.

Did you expect an instant response to your issue? It was sorted within an hour, which is more than fair for a response time for a problem.

Also, I'm not a mod and haven't been on staff in years (read the rank.)

 

I think that you're forgetting that staff are volunteers. What we do is not a paid position, we do it to help out. We get ontop of things as soon as we can - I think 60 minutes is a reasonable timeframe.

 

no. you dont have to refresh the page for notifications on this site. i learned that within 10minutes of making my account? no youre a retired a mod. still sticking up for your colleagues who are wrong. and you flamed me, so give me a break? well you broke the rules. typical, once had power thinks he can just break the rules. see i might be new to this site, but i definately read the rules.

 

iunderstand that. but when multiple mods are PM'd, the report on the post has been placed. and none of them are doing anything about it, or other problematic instances (because i checked out what every individual i pm'd was currently doing) it encites some anger. now thats not the point of this page. my problem was fixed. the problem is the way a mod hopped on that complaint, belittled me, then closed it. then we have this old mod here flaming me. he violated the rules are you not going to deal with that because hes an Ex mod?

 

Constantly refreshing the page to look at the forums, constantly checking alerts, however you want to phrase it. It's not a terribly reasonable expectation however you put it.

so why dont you go read the rules of the site you once had power in, and ill sit on my pc, playing runescape. when im Alerted someone has messaged/posted on my thread perhaps it will be good news of a former mod getting penalized for violating those rules. doubt thatll happen though.

 

and incase you were wondering; it tells you when someones read your message too. shake my head, please learn how this site operates.

 

pretty sure you would've gotten a faster response @'ing someone on Discord where a lot of mods idle & notifications are beeped through (you have to keep in mind mods get loads of PMs daily and have a lot of things to do and prioritize irl first)
