If they actually claimed this, it's a complete lie. Sexcoin has targeted this industry as well.

The thing is, there has been little evidence of a coin that provides specific advantages to a particular industry. The idea behind any currency is that its utility is based largely on its liquidity. By that logic, it's very difficult to see how targeting a specific niche would provide utility to a crypto-currency.

Titcoin? Don't we have plenty of these cryptocurrencies already. What do they expect people to do with it anyway? Convert your dollars to titcoins and then buy subscriptions on paysites? Who still buys porn today anyway. Or are we supposed to pay hookers and strippers with it lol.

Everybody watches free stuff on sites like youporn, http://theporndude.com/ and pornhub themselves. Guess this was just another advertising stunt of them to get their site promoted for free by the media. They seem to be everywhere where you look. Recently, I saw a movie called 'Don Jon' and it had pornhub all over the place too and when I walk in public, I see people wearing T-shirts with the 'pornhub' logo.
