Tips on running a bot farm

I want to set up my very own farm. before i do so i reckon its a smart idea to get some pointers from you guys since, my only botting history before this is just your average rock crab scripting.

I've settled on osbot's mirror client, should i be running proxies or vpn's with these if i want to run mass accounts?? if so do i pay for one of those or just use the free ones?

what precautions could i take to avoid less ban rates? & lastly when paying for membership on accounts should i just buy bonds or buy eoc gp then buy a bond.

 

Vpn, and don't use the free ones. ITs more than likely that the ip's are already flagged from someone using that same vpn in the past for goldfarming.

 

should i use free scripts or privately made ones? how do you even find a trusted scripter

Havent been banned in over 2 months definitely worth the money you put in if you're running 10+ accounts

paid scripts as in private, or just premium?

 

as in privately made by a scripter that only you have access to. i'm not sure what client you run it off of though, but ive heard of them being made for around $50.

 

Yeah I'm aware, I was asking Chillzer if he was referring to private or premium script when he said "paid scripts" cause they could mean either.

You can run private scripts through any bot client, simply copy the code into a notepad and save it in a certain folder. Either that or the scripter sends you the file and you add it to the folder. I remember doing this back in the rsbuddy/rsbot days.

 

I'd check out the Villavu Site and use the Simba bot there. It takes a little bit of work to learn it completely, but if you can get a custom made script from someone (Ask nicely, and offer payment. Or it's not too hard to learn how to make your own with some time.)

I've used some bigger name bots before and mass used scripts and while it worked out well for a short month or two, eventually everything was getting banned pretty quickly.

 

Yup, jagex can detect the client you're using, therefore no matter what script you're using, eventually you will get hit with the hammer.

 

Yeah I read your article before. I haven't seen a huge influx in the ban numbers from the sources I normally see, but I wouldn't be surprised if it took a little time.
