Timer on your sythe account?

This is not feasible because of a fundamental problem in the way HTTP works.

As soon as a page finishes loading, the connection ends. It's really impossible to tell whether someone's actually online; the online indicator in vBulletin is just this:

After taking any action on the site, like viewing, posting, modding, PMing, etc. your online timer turns on and stays on for the next 900 seconds. Even if you close your browser, you will still be shown as online, and if you keep your browser open but don't do anything on the forum for 15 minutes, you will be shown as offline after those 15 minutes.

 

I support this 100% sounds like a great idea.

Also for the people saying that it should only be private, make a option to have it either private or public.
