Thoughts on the anime Erased?

SO, with the new season of anime coming up did anyone watch Erased aka Boku dake ga Inai Machi from last season?

IMO, it was the standard way over-hyped anime of the year. Completely filled with plot holes, shitty characters and the OST was pretty dull aswell. Rated way too high for what its worth because it centers around time travel and abuses overly emotional motifs giving the illusion that its actually what its rated.
