    Thoughts on School IDs

Alright, well most High Schools have school ID's that's not what sucks about it.

Supposedly last year someone got onto a campus in our school district and beat some kid up in a bathroom or something (what I've heard, I will try and verify).

But basically, the consequence is we get to wear these stylish lanyards with ID badges (I'll get a picture up soon). We can no longer carry them in wallets, purses, pockets, etc. I know, the idea may not seem bad, but when there are 2,300 other kids with ID's it is rather annoying. Not to mention, all the teachers know most of the students due to simply seeing them around school frequently. We've also stepped up security, but I don't really get it because they only watch some areas of the school.

There have been kids that have tried to break the rules on this in the district, but it's been ruled with an iron fist.

So, basically what's your thoughts on the idea of requiring all the students to wear the ID's around their necks?

School ID's? for instance what if someone stole someone else's ID and broke some rules. All together its a stupid system and the fact of having 2.3k students in one school is also stupid. My school has 500 tops. Also can you tell me what these ID's are meant to archive.

I would be very angry if this happened in my school. Schools near mine are required to do this. The students either have to wear it around their necks or clip it to their shirts. It also has their whole schedule written on it and has a colored dot on it representing what lunch period the student has.

My school has 3100 kids that attend to it. Without our ID we are not allowed to do anything. Not even attend the day.

    Your school sucks lmao.

Our school has the worse security ever since my freshman year. We see kids smoking cigarretes in school campus. Sophmore year , its been real tight. Junior year , I hope it doesn't go worse

    Thoughts on School IDs

    Our school consists of;

No solid backpacks (must be see-through)
No solid color clothing (gang security)
Every morning, go through metal detectors.
    No pants with big pockets
Not allowed to attend school without your ID
No keeping doors open, must be closed at all times
locker searches every day at lunch
    car searches everyday at lunch
no one allowed in the hall between lunches

    other random shit.

Actually, the school isn't in the ghetto.

All of this was new as from last year when the kids who did live in the ghetto got to pick which school they wished to attend, of course what did they pick? Our school.

All of the blacks, mexicans, etc - that decided to attend our school basically lost all of our freedom.

I only have 500 kids who go to my middle school and we basically have the same rules except the see through backpacks.

I have a school ID, and don't mind it. It's more of a credit card where I go to.

Getting on campus and beating someone up is only slightly easier than borrowing someones ID, getting onto campus, and beating someone up.

That's pretty ridiculous honestly. I wouldn't worry about it they won't be able to enforce it forever with that many kids. One month and it'll all be gone.

We get ids at our school, but I don't remember one instance where anyone needed them.

    Thoughts on School IDs

most schools can't not just because of the safety issue but because a couple thousand bookbags take up a shitload of room.

So you're saying that everyone wears fruity nametags around the school? Someone isn't going to be randomly beaten up in the bathroom he must have done something to deserve it. My school has just under 2000 kids, we have ID's which they sometimes ask for at dances but we do have a student list.... It's pretty easy to tell who is a student and who isn't. There is no way to monitor everyone and it's very easy to sneak in no matter what you do. There are just too many sick bastards in the world and there's little you can do to stop them.

That's why I go to a smaller school :D. I'm so happy we have cops on duty there. Earlier this week a guy got fined for not checking in at the office when he entered the building.
