Thoughts on Runespan.

What are your thoughts on it?

Personally I think it's a stupid addition to RS. Don't get me wrong, I like the xp but still it's made one of the most difficult skills, to get to 99, easy.

 

i'm very happy with runespan. Now the people like it. Before, no one ever trained rc high because it was to hard and boring

 

I loved it and hated it. Love it because I got 99 rc on my skiller really quickly. But hated it because I was already 92 rc, had worked so hard already to get it then this came along :/

But for present day, I really do like it

 

I like the way Runespan operates, it is more fun to train than other skills because of the way you interact with the Runespan environment, it is one of my favorite updates.

However, the XP rates are way, way too high. The skill is no longer "respectable" because of how fast the exp is.

 

its too easy to lvl and i dont see any relationship between 'real rc' and runespan

 

before runespan: a person with a lvl 99 cape was like "wow you nolifer, how long did you played to get it?"

now with runespan: "do you botted runecrafting?"

To bad it came out before RS3

 

Ruined my 99 RC that I got the old school way through just the Abyss & people hell bent on pking you for a glory amulet back when they were over 100k each.

 

I like it. I hated the old way of training runecrafting. Would you honestly prefer to grind for like 500 hours or just chill at runespan for 100.... HMMMM?!

 

Certainly a step towards Runescape becoming more of a game and less of a grinding session.

Got to feel bad for those that slaved away to get 99 runecrafting before it came out though.

Fingers crossed they do something similar with agility next...

 

There are many different stupid additions to the game of runescape (EOC) But runescape is one of the decent ones while the game was enjoyable because i could afk and get some mad rc xp =p instead of running nats all day. 6/10 for runespan nothing special though.

Honestly, I'd prefer to run runes with a higher xp rate. The thing is Rc is very easy to level to 99 with Runespan and very difficult to level to 99 with rune running. There's no middle ground for training like there is with most of the other skills. I think that RS would have been better off to improve it by keeping the difficulty of running the runes and making the xp higher.

 

I think RuneSpan was a great update.

There are/were some changes I had wanted, however, but seeing as RuneSpan has been out so long it wouldn't be fair to the members that have already received their benefit from it (experience-wise).

I'm questioning if they may release similar mini-games in the future. If they do- I hope they are not -too- far spread out.

 

ZMI was a good enough alternative to RC...Runespan is just a joke xp wise how easy it is now.

 

Its funny hearing how the people here claim its too easy now and I bet at least half of those have botted before lol..

False. I got it the hardest way possible personally, and it is indeed a joke. But that's okay, the whole game now is. Easy as hell to max out.
