Thoughts on LOLPro NACL game?...

For those of you who watch the NACL or have heard about the game on reddit or such do you think they were reasonable to do what they did?

For those of you who don't know, LoLPro are an NA Challenger league team playing in the Amature series, sadly they're frequented by DDOS Attacks, So they recently "Trolled" one of their games as they were not allowed to forfeit the game before it had begun.

Quite frankly i'm utterly appalled at the lack of professionalism shown by the CASTER.

But none the less, for those of you who know about the situation, thoughts?

Are LoLpro to blame for lack of ddos protection? The coach and managers who supply the gear, should teams be allowed to forfeit games they don't wish to play with a good enough reason?

 

Look at forfeiting from the sport's perspective: If you are allowed to forfeit, all of the money invested into the game will be completely wasted. I think it's okay to not allow teams to forfeit, but I also think it's unacceptable to allow the DDoSing to happen during a semi-professional matchup.

EDIT: I think that it was pretty pathetic that LolPro allowed themselves to continue participating in the semi-pro scene without fixing their DDoS problems. It's just common courtesy to allow yourself to play at a high level.

In terms of the players themselves, we've all been in a DDoS/lagspike game, and they royally piss me off to no end. When it's in a professional setting, I can honestly say I would probably do the same thing and ragequit/troll just to prove the point that Riot's handling of the DDoS is unacceptable. I can't really say I think what they did was wrong at all. Obviously the professional league can't just let teams forfeit, but at the same time what else can we expect during DDoSing?

 

Since they were told they wouldn't be able to win anyway because of DDoS, there really isn't a point of playing seriously, then why not just have fun?

 

Those casters though... just got the time to watch it. Lol their professionalism was low the entire time.

 

I got so mad when he started just like saying

"THAT'S SO RETARED, LIKE YEAH IM NOT SHOUT CASTING THIS THIS IS RETARDED"

Like an actual fuckin 12 year old lol.

To add on, I think the worst part of the video was the casters. That bad. I'd rather watch 15 minutes of disconnect.
