    Thoughts on LG G3?

Thinking about getting one, or a similarly priced Android phone.
Had the LG G2 for a year, was very happy with it.

What are your thoughts on the LG G3 if you've got one?

    Thoughts on LG G3?

I have the G3 and I just got it. After nearly 2 years my G2 started experiencing overheating and battery issues, and I love the new phone. It is great. Responsive, holds a charge, light, crisp 4k screen. Well worth it. I'm actually considering going back to the AT&T store and seeing if I can trade up into a G4 and pay the extra when I get paid since I am within the 30 days period or whatever.

Solid phone though I've always thought it was weird that the power button was on the back. Not exactly...Ergonomic. Specs wise it's very good for the price point. Not much compares except maybe the Xperias. That's a pretty colossal maybe though.

I'm personally going to the OnePlus (1 or 2) from my Nexus 4 whenever it clunks.

    Thoughts on LG G3?

I've owned it for a couple weeks now and have found it's an amazing phone that easily beats most $700 phones at half the cost. The placement of the power/volume buttons is a bit weird to get used to but this only took ~24hrs for me. The Q-HD screen is a nice feature, but unless you're planning on watching and uploading Q-HD movies yourself, you're probably never going to use it to its full advantage. The rest of the specs, well, they speak for themselves. 3GB RAM 2,5 gHz quadcore, etc. etc. etc.

    tl;dr Great yet cheap phone.

Also, I will be ordering this 9000mAh extended battery case for it soon.

EDIT: And I'm loving the fact it now supports data encryption straight out of the box!
EDIT2: In comparison to the LG G2, the LG G3 is faster, has more memory, has an SD slot supporting up to 128GB, has a removable battery (I hate how this has become a feature rather than a standard) and I'm sure there are some more upgrades but I found these are the most important.

Note for the above post: the LG G3 is not a 4k resolution phone, it only takes up to 4k resolution video...

    Get the gs6

It's literately better at everything by a long shot: http://www.phonearena.com/reviews/Samsung-Galaxy-S6-vs-LG-G3_id3980/page/2

Twice as fast (see 2nd page benchmmarks)

The LG G3 has a little louder speakers! (sarcasm)

I guess, for me, the show stoppers with the gs6 are the facts that you can't remove the battery or add a SD card... I'm sure they'll bring that back in the gs7 version. They reapply pissed a off a lot of people with that stunt.

It is also literally twice as expensive. $300 vs $600

My bad 4k video recording, 1440p screen. Either way. The phone is best value for your money you can get on the market atm.
