This is a very poor argument , runefest was an event for rs players to go to in real life with benefits that dont further the advancement of your character i wouldnt consider that rwt so much as it was a promo event. The green skin and stuff bought with LOYALTY points are simply membership benefits. I wouldnt call runefest or the loyalty program rwt by any means. Selling tickets to use in game for real world money that can get you levels and rare items is RWT plain and simple . If you remember correctly rsgp is on the wheel quite often and wheel spins being available for purchase you can essentially buy rsgp. Dont be fooled or have any pretense about it we dont need them to directly sell rsgp for $ to know which way the wind blows . They broke their own rules plain and simple .

My theory is that since they got taken over by the investors, they've been told to generate extra revenue, so the investors can see a quick return on their investment. That's why they've been raising membership prices, running schemes like "refer a friend", and the SoF.
