Thought's on EOC?

I'm not a fan of beta as I only use pures. But I have to say reading some peoples thoughts on it have changed my attitude somewhat, but tbh I still won't give Jagex the satisfaction of saying it's a good update.

They nearly always do bad update and then deny it and they also have this attitude of rail roading players who don't agree with their opinion on things. Much like the EoC vote which was stacked in their odds with the question answers.

 

At present I really really really hate it. That may be because I am so confused about the whole thing. We'll see in time.

 

It's actually pretty decent.
Combat isn't as boring anymore.
Although, I wish they hadn't removed specials :'(

 

I actually begging to like it . Idk why, but slayer was so boring and now i can actually complete tasks without being as bored. And i agree, no specials is a bummer.

 

the abilities are rubbish...and unbalanced i just want more people to get on staking otherwise its over for me

 

... Too much for an old school Scapper like I. I play ProjectRSC for RuneScape Classic and for RS2 ima play 2006Scape... Jagax is sold out

 

Indeed why are not many ppl staking? we can still box and normal rapier fight

 

I'm not sure why people in general aren't staking, for me it's the action bar. I'm not familiar enough with the action bar as I don't know which combos work best, etc.

 

I think this update is complete trash. I fail to see how they made combat any more challenging or interesting in fact some aspects haven't really changed much.

With pvp it seems like all you have to do is google an awesome combo and you can go own people 5 minutes later while risking 25kish. It doesn't take any skill at all now that can sit back clicking on abilities with one hand and fap with the other. With the defence update nobody can really risk shit without going 50+ defence. Without spec weapons you have to smite them for their primary weapon or pk in high risk worlds to get any decent loot. Rushing is more than possible if you box a friend until your adrenaline hits 100%.

With slayer and combat training in general they haven't done jack shit for making them interesting all you do now is put momentum on and grind away.

I have nothing to say about pvm because I’ve never been very interested in it and I don’t plan on wasting any more time or money playing Rune$cape.

 

It's like range wasn't that popular, EOC has made it alot more powerfull.
