Thoughts on Duct Tape?

On Mythbusters they did a whole episode, based on Ducttape.
My favorite was when they made a boat. It was a working boat, with a sail.

 

I made a duct-tape hat, wore it all through freshman year (if I get around to it and I can find the hat, I'll post a pic).

If somethings broken, use Ducttape - if it's still broken, you haven't used enough tape.

It's great stuff, useful in almost every situation you can think of.

I know people who make duct-tape wallets.

 

Okay but they cheated and used a fucking metal frame. They should have made that shit solid and sturdy. Make like a 2 inch squared solid duct tape tube or something to support it instead of cheating.

 

You could try making furniture out of duct tape.

I remember a guy using Fed Ex boxes to make furniture instead of buying their own. He had it throughout his apartment. [Google Fed Ex Furniture]

Oh, and the Duct Tape wallets are all over LOL...overpriced as hell too. If you made hella of those you'd be rich.

 

there actually is a brand of duct tape with a duck logo on it, i'm not for sure but i think it might be spelled duck on that brand.

 

I made a wallet out of duct tape 4 years ago and I'm currently still using it.

 

where do u get colored d tape from?!

 

Walgreens sells some colored duct tape, but you can go to a craft store and get others.

 

My sister made an duck tape purse and she loved it lol.
