Thoughts about 4chan

I use to go on /b/ quite some time ago when it was just getting started and when the people that were on it were legit and good people.
I decided to quit after someone I had formed a friendship with over 4chan got arrested for some pranks he pulled thanks to 4chan.
I went on it just over a week ago and have seen a lot has changed.
There is a lot of hate between people.

It would be that when someone new pops up people would welcome them...
Now everyone gets called a "newfag"

When someone needed help with a personal problem like someone abusing them on msn or a chat site, you could call in for some help
Now when you ask for anything you get told to gtfo and get called a "newfag" and get told that they are not your personal army..

Alot of 4chan has changed and it has made it turn into the fuc*ed up site that it is now.

Where people feel free to post child gore porn..
and make abuse people just because they can..


Also I was apart of Project Chanology, is that still around?

4chan is still OK, I just don't go on /b/. I'm more of an r9k kinda person. It reminds me of /b/ before it was infested with children.

 

every time i go to /b/ i get grossed out and leave right away

but people used to say that loads of internet trends originated from that site
any1 care to ellaborate for me?

Its an image board where people post pictures and talk about them..
its turned into a way to talk and get free porn and illegal porn and abuse people and set internet trends etc etc

You just don't belong. If you don't approve, don't go; it's fairly simple. Sythe is where you can get a close knit bunch of friends. the chan is for fun. You're anonymous for a reason.

 

It's for weirdos, I try and stay far away.

4chan is kinda meh, I go on it sometimes to laugh at shit when I'm really bored. Otherwise its whatever, Its pretty damn fucked up though

 

I'd say 25% of it is clever, truly funny stuff. The rest is filth produced by basement dwelling losers.

 

If you don't like it, don't visit it. I personally love /b/ and spend many hours browsing.

 

4chan is a pretty bad site, some funny stuff comes out of there but a lot of it is completely stupid.

 

You mean before a good chunk of the internet in general was infested with children.

Has to do with scientology, i.e people trying to make money off of religion.
